Småryds gård sits just outside Båstad and has been carefully restored to keep its original character, with stone walls, exposed beams, terracotta floors and freshly laid thatch.

The kitchen is the natural centre of the house, with a large island, a dining table for the whole party, an open fireplace and a wood stove beside it. It is built for cooking together and staying at the table. The living room adjoins it, with sofas, a smart TV and bookshelves. Two bedrooms are on the entrance floor, one of them with its own bathroom, and two are upstairs. There are two more bathrooms, one on each floor.

This is a house that is at its best when there are many of you. In autumn and winter it is the open fireplace and the big kitchen that make it, and the walk along the water into Båstad is just as good in October as in July. The inner courtyard is sheltered from the sea wind, which makes it especially good on sunny spring and autumn days.

Professional cleaning, bed linen and towels are included.
